Ray James began his professional life with a roll of paintings under his arm, knocking on doors and selling them to homeowners. He built that simple beginning into a business that held clearance sales of oil paintings across Canada.

The Moment Everything Changed

Years later, on a buying trip to New York City, Ray stepped into a bar in Greenwich Village and saw two performers taking suggestions from customers and turning them into improvised stories. It was one of the most pivotal moments of his life. Before long, he was studying improvisational comedy in New York. Improv became both his passion and his muse.

Partnership Activates Potential

Since then, Ray has produced and performed in hundreds of murder mysteries and led his Improv Comedy for the TERRRIFIED!!! workshops across North America. Whether he is creating an evening of interactive entertainment, helping beginners discover their courage, or speaking about creativity and innovation, the same principle guides his work: partnership activates potential.
